Nappies saved from Landfill - January 2018
Botanic Baby Monthly Statement
In January 2018 - We welcomed both the New Year and new customers, some known friends returning with their new babies. Congratulations and Welcome.
Together we have diverted 13,360 nappies from landfill this month, contributing on average 4,543 with biosolids to the Melbourne South East Treatment Plant biofuel.
These nappies would have equated to 7,157L of waste equivalent to 89.5(80L) wheelie bins.
We are really excited to see such an immediate impact with our customers returning from Vacation leave.
Thank you for supporting us and making a difference.

About us
As parents ourselves, we understand that using cloth diapers can be daunting at first, what with the initial cost and the added effort to wash and dry them. In order to make cloth nappies an option for parents throughout Metro Melbourne, we collect, wash, and restock your reusable cloth nappies through an affordable cloth nappy laundry service that is comparative in cost to buying disposable diapers. Not only do we do this to remove the burden of handling soiled nappies, but also to ensure that the nappies are washed to commercial standards using efficient, eco-friendly methods. Over the years we have gathered the first hand information serving thousands of customers to create a Product that is Designed, Developed and Produced in Australia using Australian cotton grown in Queensland. A nappy which is more absorbent, natural and petroleum free (insert), and thinner than ever before.
